This "8.5 plate is part of my Aghani Banat*/ Daloka* Series which is in celebration of Sudanese women who through telling their stories, tell our collective stories too.
 
*Aghani Banat.. literally translates to "Girls Songs".
 
*Daloka is a Sudanese drum used by women.

My Ceramics are hand-built, hand-painted, one-off pieces that can be used for decoration or as functional items, as well.
 
 
This plate is dishwasher and microwave-safe. It is recommended to hand-wash handmade ceramics.
