Berenice; The story of the Lost Kingdom is a series of digital illustrations as my contribution to the book «Sudan Untold/Redtold», curated by renowned artist Khalid Elbaih in collaboration with Goethe Institut, Khartoum.
The book is a collaboration between Sudanese artists to write a creative history of Sudan, based on true stories.
The illustrations which are in a double exposure theme, tell the story of Berenice, the lost Kingdom of Gold between the Sudanese and Egyptian borders, which was later ‹discovered› by Italian archaeologists.
